Hi ampers

I have a Viewstar PT2500A amplifier and not to happy with the output.
The manual says the HV-transformer is an 1300VA special Hammond.
Inside my amp is a 1100VA/1100volt Hammond transformer. (Thats what the
label says on the transformer)
Why ? Anybody who knows the reason ?
