[AMPS] 76a burning out band switch

1. Sounds like one of the typical problems associated with parasitic
problems in the amp. You might want to take a good look at the
suppressors on the plate caps. 
2. Dirty connection on band switch contacts.
3. Problems with design of switch to start with, doughtful.
