[AMPS] Yaesu announces the new HF solid state amplifier price

Yaesu Japan announced the list price for the new 1KW output
solid state / automatic antenna tuner :

* VL-1000 - amplifier deck & automatic tuner: Y350000 !!
* VP-1000 - 50Vdc switching power supply : Y200000 !! 

Those are the Japan list prices as figured in their WEB site.
I suppose that the US prices will be at least 20-30% less at 
dealers. Anyway, those figures are quite prohibitive and
disappointing. 

The VL-1000 was exposed at Dayton at Yaesu booth with no
detailed technical specs or brochures. Maybe more infos
will be released at Friederichshafen HamFest at the end of
this month.

No news about the ICOM new similar solid state amplifier
IC-PW-1.
