[AMPS] Need info on Alpha 78

There is a connector strip on the power supply side of the amp mounted to
the divider going from the front to the back of the amp.  If one tap is
shorted, you are in 220 mode, if three are, you are in 110 mode.  For
about $10, Alphapower will send you a complete schematic and operator's
manual -- you should get it. It will show you exactly how to convert 
between 110 and 220.  200 is probably a bit on the low side for the 8874 
heaters.

AlphaPower will (supposedly) do the mods for other bands.  These involve
adding switches and relays.  Whatever you do, DO NOT ATTEMPT TO OPERATE
THE AMP on 24 MHz without modifying the choke -- it is resonant at 24MHz.
