[AMPS] L-4B Question

I will be looking for a Drake L-4B at Dayton this year.
Is there anything good or bad I should be looking for?

I am looking for a good amp in the $600 - $800 price range.

The Drake always has impressed me as a well built unit.

Any comments would be appricated, as it was very hard
to even get this amount pass the CFO (xyl) at my house.
