[AMPS] Dentron 2000L

I picked up one of these amps, it only has a 40 meter tank circuit in
it.
Thinking about Ferrite Toroid Tank Circuit?
I know i'll have to wind my own coil- what size wire would be best? It
is a good idea once i get it wound and tapped to take it some where and
have it silver plated? Anyone  have a copy of an 8877 schematics ? Or
better yet the schematics for this amp that they could send me. I'd pay
postage if necessary.
