€ According to Eimac's Technical Data  (6-16-61):   "The 4CX250R will 
deliver more output power in most linear amplifiers which presently 
employ the 4X250B or 4CX250B ... ... ...".    
Carl:  How can "more output power" be obtained if the B and R versions  
"have identical cathode emission"?

-  The constant current curves  unsurprisingly shows that the R version 
has a higher peak current ability than the B version.  However, 'more 
output power' is realizeable only when sufficient screen-potential is
