[AMPS] Dip Meters and Chokes

Having read all the material on chokes i find i dont have a dip meter,
any suggestions on which circuit or model to build or buy. I mostly
see the kenwood/mfj/ el cheapo branded by many type around. Are these
any good. The handbook has a circuit, but for some reason no data is
given for 160m coverage.What are the good oldies i should look for, i
know Millen use to make one.
