[AMPS] Keying Question; IC-706MKII/Amp

Many Icom owners to use the ACC socket's  +9v on Tx output to control the 
amplifier, which means that the amplifier needs to have a NPN transistor 
switch  whose base is driven by this signal through a c. 1k R, like that 
shown in Fig. 7 on my Website.
