[AMPS] Biasing

To purchase a 50W zener diode in Australia, you are looking at putting a US
$50.00 plus hole in your bank account. If the one you buy does not set the
idle current at the desired point, you gotta go out and buy another one
with a different voltage.

A string of ten 5408's or a 3055 and small diode cost just a couple of bucks.

Who on God's earth would ever give 2 hoots about DYNAMIC REGULATION when
faced with the above choices? Certainly not this little piggy.

ps: A safe, peaceful and joyous Christmas season to everybody on this
brilliant reflector. I've learned heaps and heaps about amps during the
last year and I'm looking forward to more of the same next year.

Cheers.
