Hi,
  Some of these references have good info about how to build amplifiers
in the "old way".  :-)

  73 Magazine from late 60  through Early 71 
	-- These are a couple of issues missing.   $50

  CQ Magazine from December 45 through December 70 plus some later
issues.
  The first 10 years or so are lightly water damaged from a small roof 
leak a long time ago. Mostly complete but may be missing a dozen or so
issues.  $125

  Ham Radio from March 68 (first issue) through December 70.   $30

  The Journal of the IRE from 1941 through about 1975 (changes to IEEE
proceedings in the '60's).  About 16 feet of them.  There are some bound
volumes in the late '40's till about 1960.   The early 40's of these were
under the same part of the roof.  Slight water damage.  $200
