Check the February 1991 issue of QEX for an article on a switching power supply by Timothy Hullick, W9QQ.


2000 volts at 1.5 amperes.

Inrush current less than 1 amp.

Ripple less than 2 volts

No load to full load regulation less than 100 volts

Duty cycle of 100%

100 KHz switching

Weight less than 8 pounds

240 volts, 60 Hz input


There were corrections to the article in the August 1991 issue of QEX.
