My understanding is that is what you DON'T do! I understand that it should
be tuned a bit HF, so that it looks like a higher inductance, thus
maintaining constant current in the choke. It's useful to use Variac for the
commissioning stage so you can wind it all up very gently until you've got
it tuned right.
