[AMPS] Unitrode & Microsemi PIN diodes

Unitrode certainly had some very good apps info in their data book: I don't
know how much has carried on into Microsemi. There has also been some good
stuff published in IEEE by someone from M/A, on designing attenuators as
well as switches. Suggests possibly a fast enough attenuator to protect one
of these fragile grid tubes from dangerous overdrive?
