[AMPS] Transformer source

I hope I'm not wearing out my welcome with all of my questions, but here's
another:  I'm looking for a transformer for my homebrew amp project.  Plate
supply needed is 3000v at 800 ma, CW duty cycle.

I want a modern transformer rated about 1200vac at 1 amp to use with a doubler
circuit -- 'modern' means low secondary resistance and a transformer designed
for bridge or doubler service, not for a full-wave ct type circuit.  

Dahl makes a number of nice ones.  Unfortunately, they cost about $185.  Can
anyone suggest a less expensive source for such a transformer?
