The HC-1 is rated for 25 amps @ 60 hz vs the RJ-1's 18 amp rating.
The pull-in voltage rating voltage for both is 16vdc. The 36 volts Alpha
uses is plenty to do the speed-up job. (over 2X needed voltage.)
Alan says the HC-1 is faster than the RJ-1...argue it out with him!
