[AMPS] Unidentified diodes

Hi,

I've got a few diodes that i bought as "high voltage diodes".
Now that i plan to use them in a project, i'm looking for some more
precise specifications.

They are written "GI HVPR16-12". They are made of black plastic,
square section of 7x7 mm, 30mm long.

Can someone help ?
(i do not even know what "GI" -that i guess to be the manufacturer
initials- stand for)
