[AMPS] Connecting Drake 4LB AMP to 1000MP

Hello,

A friend of mine has just purchased a new FT-1000MP and would like to
connect it to his Drake 4LB amplifier.

Does the Drake 4LB amplifiers AGC line connect to the FT-1000MP ALC
connector?  If so, does it connect directly or is it necessary to use
some sort of translation circuitry?

Can the FT-1000MP directly key the Drake 4LB or is a external relay
recommended?
