One of the odd things about this whole discussion is that while several
licensed amateurs
contributing to this reflector have alluded to running illegal power, these
folks do
not receive criticism for their activities while Mr. Free aka... is
castigated for
allegedly doing the selfsame on the CB band. Admittedly, Mr. Free has been
more
forthright in his pronouncements about illegal activity, but why does being
blunt
as opposed to being cute and subtle (only into a dummy load, really :)),
result in being
excoriated? Is it the manner in which he announces these activities? or
merely that
these activities take place in CB-land as opposed to the holier (than thou)
ham bands.
