[AMPS] Ameritron AL-811H

According to my AL-811H owners manual there is no performance gain in
wiring the amp for 240V operation.  The amp is designed for 120V service.
Replacing the 811A's with 572B's yields no performance advantage in output
but some say with them the amp runs cooler. and the tubes last longer
although you pay more for them to start with so that extra life may be a
wash.

I thought your output was a bit low stating it ran from 450-600 from 10M
thru 160M.  With about 55W drive on my Yaesu YS60 peak-reading meter I see
an honest 800W PEP 80M thru 17M.  About 700W on 15M and 600 on 10M.

Bought my 811H new year ago and it came with the Svetlana tubes.  So far
no trouble at all and it runs all day long no complaints.
