I have to agree with ALL of the points of view below.  I would miss Rich's
technical input and dry wit - controversial as some of it is.  I would not
miss the publishing of his schoolyard bickering about incidents that
happened 6 to 10 years ago.  Those are his personal issues that cannot and
will not ever be resolved by anyone on this reflector. Consequently, they
have no place here.

Now play nicely boys! I think there will be a lot of technical discussion
lost as a result, (as one who reads the mail from the sidelines). But I
guess one can only stomach X amount of rhetoric.

Amen ... this isn't the "Measures Newsgroup!"  It's bad 
enough that Measures has to have the last word on EVERY 
subject on the reflector whether it contributes or not. 
Now we're subjected to it directly.
