[AMPS] meter rebuilding

Hi Bob, 

Been there, done that...  No luck finding replacement meters 
except from salvaged equipment or the sharks. I've seen 
Fair Radio or Surplus Sales with similar teardrop meters.

I did a Henry amplifier rebuild back in the early 90's which 
required the meters replaced at the insistence of the owner.  Quite 
the pain. 

You can call Standard Meter/Lamp, a Company in Livermore, 
California to see if they can do it for you.  My 1993 dated phone 
number is 510 449-0220

My current solution is to bribe a machinist friend to make some 
adapters to fit without new holes.

Some amplifier parts questions.  Our club has a Henry 3K plate meter
burned 
out - anyone know where/if it could be repaired?  Apparently no more of
that 
oval shaped very thin meter available.
