However, 240v / 60Hz transformers work semi-ok on 200v / 50Hz -- although 
the voltage will obviously be lower.  The right way to do it is with 
240v, 220v, 200v primary taps, a gorilla core, and a filament v adj 
rheostat with rear panel jacks for a DMM.  .  .  .  .
