Try to stretch the Cu-tubing slightly (2-3%)one way or the other. (I used my
car in one end
and the bottom of my tower in the other end) That will make the tubing soft
until you bend
it. After bending it the first time it hardens again and you will have to
repeat the car/towertrick
if you failed to get the right shape.

Another method is to melt alloy or lead or resin into the tube, meke the
coil and then melt the
filling and let it run out again.

But I prefer to stretch the tube, it leaves the color unchanged.
