[AMPS] comparison

greetings.  this may be a little of the subject, but id like to hear some
opinions on the tentec titan amps with the pair of 3cx800 vs the
ameritron al1500 with the 8877. am curious what the multitude thinks of
these amps and if given a choice what they would buy. am asking because
my 4k ultra does not cover 160m. am looking for an amp that will do 160
as well as be a standby amp. am curious about how much power they will
really make and for what length of time they will do it for.  the cost to
acquire one or the other of these amps seems to be about the same.   cost
or availability of spare tubes is not a consideration since i have
several of each..  your comments will be appreciated.....t.y...w8zh
