An old design but great article (mechanically a marvel) was in 16th
Edition of Radio Handbook. If you want to know if it worked, W7GG, owned
this amp in the 60's though he did NOT build it.Ther 20th Edition of the
same book has a 4CX1500B amp.

Hope this info helps for circuit design info. Finally had time to locate
articles.
