     The first is why do most wide band common cathode triode amplifiers use
plate neutralization and not grid? Usually they have a dual capacitor in 
plate circuit and not
grid.  It would be a lot easier to use a balanced grid circuit and a PI 
plate circuit for
coupling.
      The second is the best way to repair a B&W 850 whose  ribs have 
shriveled up and
disintegrated?
