€  I do not recall Terry saying that the entire grid was found to be 
shattered.

€  I suspect that there is something amiss with your force figures since 
it typ. takes c. 11g of force for c. 30 - 40 sec., to straighten bent 
filament helices.  Also, the fil. helices  are  not straight conductors.
