[AMPS] AC on the plates???

For a distinctive cw sound, try putting ac directly on the plates of the
813's, similar to designs of the 30's.  It saves having to install
rectifiers and generally clears a path similar to Norm's gated screen grid
design for ssb.

No rectifiers, no choke, no filter caps.

A tuned plate tuned grid design running push pull should put out a few
hundred watts of cw with character.  And, since there is no filter charge or
discharge time, you can simply connect the telegraph key in series with the
primary of the power transformer.
