Good article Jim, I would like to add that tarnished silver has the same
conductivity as bright silver. That's one more reason that it is by far the
best material for many electrical applications. The reason that Teflon
insulated wire is silver plated is that the high melting point of the Teflon
would corrode bare copper in the extrusion process. Geo>K0FF
