Thanks Marv.

That plate choke must have a lot of RF circulating current in it on 3.5MHz,
then. Calculating the various resonances in that lot isn't trivial; you can see
that depending on band and tuning/loading  capacitor settings, there's a
resonance somewhere in the 0.5 to 2MHz region.

As usual, the question is: Does it matter?

Tom seems to be saying, 'Yes it can', while Rich appears unconvinced.
