Shorting sticks can cause serious damage.  'Tis better to limit current 
with a large resistor in series with stick.  //  I like to see the VM 
decrease as the  filter-C discharges.  

3.  Stand on a plastic matt.
4.  Put >10" Geeee-Sus statue in radio room.
