Yes,
I think you need to be careful when running up over 1kVA or so full load,
but would be very surprised if problems showed up with magnetising current
alone.
Have once or twice in 50 years encountered problems with smaller
transformers on 60/50 transition, but suspect they were bad transformers
even on 60hz.
