I have a friend of mine that runs a Thunderbolt. If memory serves me, it runs AB1(?). Only 800 watts out though. Nice amp.

  Is there anyone here who rememders the johnson viking thunderbolt amps.???
As I recall, it had a pair of 4-400 tubes. Back in the 60's it was popular.l
I always wondered what it would do in today's rf environment!!!!
