[AMPS] SB-200 & 10MHz++

I have modified several amps by replacing the conventional Switch/Plate
Cap/Inductor/Load Cap with a simple Pi filter. This gets rid of the switch
and becomes more
reliable. I think it should work with your SB-200 also. You need to have a
high grade roller inductor with enough inductance for the lower band at one
end and capable of providing a small enough inductance for the 10m Band at
the other end.

It is true that you have to recalibrate your initial settings for the three
variable components, but this is done one single time :) It works quite well
:) You can motorize them also :) Button UP/Down :)

If we can accept the notion that GUNS are
the killers and not the people, why is it that
we can not accept the idea that CARS are
the speeders and not the drivers?

Alex, trying to understand the world around.
