Remember that the primary (demonstrable) effect of radio waves is in 
fact, thermal.  

And also remember that the sex of newborn alligators is determined 
entirely by incubation temperature.

Finally, who amongst us QRO-amps type has not been bothered by 
"alligators" of the ham type?
