[AMPS] Using power supply from 2nd amp

I have a Commander HF-2500 amp in fine working order, and I'd like to
use the power supply in it to power a second amp.  I want to build a
144 MHz amp and it doesn't seem too economical to build another power
supply when there is one sitting there on the desk.

Anyone done this?  Any special precautions other than the obvious ones
about HV?
