I believe the max plate voltage was also lowered.
Even with 3kv on the plate 1500 watts out exceeds
max plate dissipation and max plate current.
Henry Radio "claims" 1500 watts with a single
pulse rated 3cx800 in their 6-meter amps.  It's an
expensive tube to run so hard.

Does anyone know the initial ratings on this EIMAC
tube before they reduced it to present values.
Have chance to get 6M amp with 1 3CX800A tube that
gets 1500W out with 3KVDC.
