Subject: [AMPS] henry 2k-4 hv breaker

I am having a slight problem with my 2k-4 henry console model ( 2 =
3-500z ) tripping the high voltage breaker .=20
When loading the amp for max power out at 50 watts input readings =
are all within spec=20
When i increase the drive to 100 watts plate current goes over 800 =
ma close to 1000 ma and circuit trips.
Reset the breaker and run on ssb appx 1000-1100 watts out .
The amp is new to me from a sk so can't ask any questions
What do you think bad tubes, amp is old may be orginal tubes
    anyting under 800ma runs ok
everything else runs as it should in the manual including the load =
and tune settings

    manual says .
    Plate voltage 2800-3200 VDC
    Resting plate current 150-200 Ma.
Max grid current at peak power out 280 Ma. (when properly tuned)
    Plate current max. 800 ma

The manual and Henry are trying to keep you from making a very
expensive mistake. I would NEVER want to see more than 800 ma
plate current under any circumstances. Grid current should not
exceed 230 ma or so. All you are doing above these values is making
    garbage and ruining good tubes.
