Regarding X-rays emission, In my office I have a relatively small x-ray
unit (useful for the spine/ extremities) and it has a power supply capable
of 120 kilovolt at 300 mah. In order for the tube to handle this, the plate
of the tube spins at a high rate of speed by some sort of motor. Typical
voltage levels are not less than 70 or 80 kv for x-ray radiation.
