 "Power output will be about 2.5 KW on HF.
Tube is quite inexpensive when compared to the 8877. I do not know why
so
few HF amps using this tube are made. I would expect US amp makers to
look
at this tube for legal limit HF amps. But they don't...
Where can you get the tube? Simple. I got 2 GS31B from a UT7 callsign in
Ukraine but I lost his contact. He has a page on the net and he is a
decent
honest person. I sent him the money (wire transfer) and he sent me the
tubes, brand new and well packed. Someone must have his address
somewhere.

This tube (GS35B) has been used widely in 50Mhz, 2m and 70cm amplifiers.
