I'm looking for some information on biasing the RCA (Burle) 8791 VHF tube.
It is currently in an RF deck biased class A with about 35V on cathode (runs
GG), 450V on screen and plate at about 2300V (200-300ma idle). I would like
to get this going on 222MHZ if possible, on SSB and possible separate bias
for CW. The tube data sheet can be found at:
http://frank.nostalgiaair.org/sheets8.html

I suspect I will need about 50V biasing, but would appreciate any feedback
from people who have used this tube.

Thanks
Steve
