[AMPS] 4CX1000A markings????

Greetings,

I just aquired among other things, an Eimac
4CX1000A/8168.  It looks very unused though there are
marks indicating that it's been in a socket.  There's
some text on the side of the anode in the same red
paint that the logo is printed in that reads:

DSA 9-21785
1000 HRS.

Anyone know what this means?  My other 8168 lacks any
markings like this.  I know these have terribly
fragile grids so if nothing else, it'll make a
handsome paperweight.  The price was right (free).
