There is an article by Russian RF engineer Andrei Grebennikov of M/A
Com's Irish division on High Efficiency Class B, E and F Power
Amplifiers in Microwave Journal, December 2002 issue. He covers the
basic ideas for each class, with respect to the parallel network
required for the output of the device, and the pertainent equations
for current, voltage, efficiency. The main point is that its all in
the parallel network, as to what you can do with your power device
(as harmonic peaking for class F, switchmode class E or good ol' B).

May your soldering irons remain hot and your fingers stay out of HV
over the coming end of year holidays.
