[AMPS] roller inductors

 In the process of initial tuning procedures could one not start with the
values of inductance and capacitance shown in the amateur handbooks, taking
into account the inherent capacities of the the tube(s), etc and using these
numbers for each band?? It might take some time but it seems to me it should
be a viable approach to the problem!!
 any comments from those who have "been there, done that"??? thanks

LC tester and it seems to be fairly accurate, at least for our purposes!!!
