Verty true - actually, anything with a suppressor grid. Which was why pentagrid
convertors operated with the suppressor at ground gave less damping to the IF
transformer in the plate. Showing age now, though aren't we?

More seriously, is there a reason why there were relatively few pentode high
power tubes, as opposed to tetrodes? Possibly because the lower plate resistance
wasn't a problem with tank circuits having a relatively low Q?
