[Amps] HV Circuit Board Material?

Greetings to the list

Since I am going to be rebuilding my L7 Power supply, I am thinking about 
trying my hand at a simply circuit board fabrication for the two boards that 
mount on each side of the L7 PS and hold four caps and the equalizer 
resistors plus the diodes.  

Is there any good operational/safety/durability reason not to do this?? If 
the answer to that is a go, does anyone have a suggestion for the basic type 
of PC board stock I should order, ( and where I might buy it?)
