[Amps] Terminology Question

Mark is correct: I remember those letters well. when I was little (long time
back) many radios used batteries. They were always marked  A+...A-
(filament) ...  B+.... B- (hi voltage supply) and C was the bias supply.
Some radios didn't need the C battery. Generally , A-  and B- were tied
together internally and also C+ , as the bias supply was always
negative!!!!! AAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!
