Hi Greg & Amps group
In my 4CX1000A amplifier the output choke and anode choke are identical. They are both 63uH, 100turns on 23mm fibre glass tube, and have a first series resonance comfortably above 30MHz.
I measured the choke S-parameters with a network analyser and included a model for them in a (Ansoft Seranade) simulation of the Pi tank. The anode and output chokes form part of the matching network and as they are quite low inductances they have the greatest effect on the Pi tank C & L values on the low bands.
