UK style 13A wall sockets were in evidence in the rooms of the Lido Holiday
Inn, Beijing, last week.  But outnumberd by ubiquitous  2 pin skts.  Visits
to Shanghai
and Nanjing only showed UK 13A skts on "universal" trailing lead extension
boards.  The parts of Malaysia I visited were as  fully UK 13A provisioned
as Singapore.

BTW 10MHz Ethernet is offered in many Chinese hotels at  0.09 RMB/minute.
8RMB= 1 USD approx.
